Cold Bill - Brrr

It has almost returned to normal here - but it snowing out west and we may get some tonight. For the first time in a week it is possible to walk outside without takng your life into your hands. Our sidewalks have been virtual ice for a long time now.

The last few days it has moderated with temps just above freezing. The secondary roads are now free of ice and snow (that make little or no attempt and sanding or salting the secondary roads. Little hills have become a bit of a trial.

In our house there is always a battle between cold Bill and hot Dave. On normal winter days he is in shorts and often little else. So, we turn the head up and down to try to make it confortable for each. This week, the heat has been on most of the time. Even with that, I was not always confortable and thus the picture above.

Today, we add a further complication. We had the furnace man in for the third time this winter. It apppears to be a valve that mixing between the hot water and the heat. The repair man turned off the hot water and the furnace it just about working. It turns on - but not for long - and as a result it is not exactly the Med in here but not the Artic either.

They, hopefully, will get this fixed tomorrow.
